Junior Prizegiving

Congratulations to Catherine for receiving the Excellence in Self Management award today! We are so proud of your ability to stay on task, complete your work at school and participate in distance learning during lockdown this year. Well done form Mrs Carter.

My Indian elephant

Mrs Carter drew the outline of an elephant in profile. I chose the colourful Rangoli designs to add first and then I painted over them using water colours. This is what it looks like!

Art Alive!

I enjoyed painting this picture as part of our Inquiry Art topic for this term!

Holiday animation!

Catherine has been busy creating another animation called "Mermaid Catherine". She said her brother did the background, but she made the super hero character. Great working from home whilst on holiday from Mrs Carter.

Cross country star!

Catherine came 2nd place in the Year 2 girls Cross country race in Term 3! Awesome effort, all that training definitely paid off.

Catherine comes in 2nd!

Wacky hair day!

Catherine's hair style looked amazing today as it was created with coloured bands. Thank you to her Mum for making a special effort!

Catherine's Taha Challenge!

Cops and Robbers!

Catherine and her sister Finau have created their own ENGAGE game called cops and robbers which they played at home during the lockdown. It is very similar to the ENGAGE game called "The Giant's Treasure" which Mrs Carter will share with you soon. Well done girls for being so creative!

Fitness challenge!

Catherine decided to set a challenge for herself that she could run 100 laps around her house. So her big sister Finau recorded her attempt. Great effort Catherine and good on you for keeping up your fitness during the lockdown!
