Catherine wrote: Today I feel tired because I was running around outside playing in my little boat I made. I ate KFC with my family. When I eat I'm tired. Today was a fun.

Making a boat in lockdown!

Catherine decide to make a boat today. She used cardboard, paper, and sellotape. She had so much fun making it. She enjoyed role playing sailing across the seas...She found a boy (our brother Vaha) with treasure and he gave it to her and she went home. They hope you like it!

Making jelly at home!

Finau and Catherine got busy and their whole family made jelly. Finau said "It was super fun and simple". You just buy a box that has jelly in it and mix hot water with it. Then stir and put it in the fridge so it can set for a few hours. Catherine had a great time and she really liked the blue jelly which was blueberry. They also made some lime jelly.

Home Learning - finding insects!

Today Finau and Catherine found a cicada shell in their garden. Vaha also went to look and play around the trees and Catherine and Keni (their little brother) were just playing and having fun. They kept looking and found more cicada shells.

Catherine wrote: Today I feel happy because I did my work and my teacher put my work on my blog. I did a video chat with my friends and my teachers. Today was cool.

Home learning about birds.

Finau and Catherine have done some homework. It was about birds and Catherine read the story about the birds and she added eggs together to make it add up to 10 (she did not really get real eggs, it was just her homework). She also had to write the word owl and coat.

Home Learning - Planet Earth!

Hi Miss Gaston and Miss Carter, me Finau and Catherine found a butterfly. Since our theme for this term is The Living Earth we went and played outside and we found a butterfly. I was hanging all the laundry and Catherine and Vaha were yelling at me and they were telling me there was a butterfly right next to me and I looked down and there was one. Catherine just got it's wing and my brother got my chromebook and we took a photo. We hope you like it and love it. Bye!

Home Learning packs arrive at my whare!

Hi Miss Gaston and Miss Carter, it's me Finau and Catherine got my learning from home pack, and inside it has books, pen, pencils, maths books and much more. Catherine really loved it and she loved reading all the books and she also liked doing some of the maths work. Here is a photo of her maths work. I also want to say thank you for putting all her work on her blog. She really loves it.

Hi Miss Gaston and Miss Cather, it's me Finau and Catherine and I did some fun homework and you know what it is, it's Shapes! Catherine and I went around the house and we found lots of shapes around the house (our heads are oval and I had a sore eye). We found circles, triangles, ovals, squares and much more. The Living World - Volcanoes!

Hi Miss Gaston and Miss Carter. Catherine and I checked the class site and this was one was on the class site and we thought it was a great idea to do this. It was a little hard because of the pictures but we had fun. We will be doing more fun activities. Bye!

Naming volcano parts.

Hi Miss Carter and Miss Gaston, it's me Finau and Catherine and I saw this fun activity on the class site. There were parts of a volcano and I did not know that so I learnt something new (as well as Catherine). We put the names on the part of the volcano. I hope you like it. Bye!

Catherine wrote: Today I feel happy because on Saturday I had a Easter Hunt with my family. We had to have it on saturday because there is no playing on sunday for us because we have church. I was always the first won to find a egg. My mum put lollies to because she wanted to. I wanted to win the easter hunt but my little brother Keni and I came second place, (its better than coming last like my sister Finau).

Catherine wrote: Today I feel happy because my older sister let me go on her chromebook. I also feel happy because I saw my friends and my teacher on the video chat. And I woke up early and ate some chocolate cookies. This morning was incredible.
